Job description

Medicine Hat College is seeking a full-time, regular Systems Analyst, Enterprise Applications to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) department. This position is part of the Enterprise Applications Support Team which is primarily responsible for the overall reliability and performance of MHC’s business, operational, and instructional applications. This position may be eligible for our Flexible Work arrangement once the 12-month probationary period is completed.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Enterprise Applications, the primary areas of responsibility for this position are in the implementation, support, and administration of MHC’s Enterprise Applications.

As a successful applicant you will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• 2 years experience in a technical analytical position responsible for managing M365 (including Azure), Active Directory environments and progressive experience in deployment and maintenance of business, operational (enterprise) or instructional applications (software).
• 2 years experience in a technical analytical position responsible for managing network and/or cloud data storage permissions, and Microsoft SharePoint/Teams.
• Practical and technical knowledge within an IT environment, including knowledge of current cyber security practices/controls, operating systems, hardware, software applications, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Power Automate and SSRS is preferable.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to provide technical information and solutions to clients.
• Applicable Certifications in position related areas

Salary Range: $70,408 - $83,145
