Job Summary :

This role ensures production lines and equipment meet standards and fulfill scheduled requirements.

Essential Functions :

1. Lead and direct production activities, providing break relief and managing inventory with FIFO.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete documentation including codes and SOPs.
3. Maintain communication with team members and pass information between shifts.
4. Report on material usage, finished goods, labor, waste, and downtime.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to GMPs, safety policies, and food safety standards.
6. Utilize tools like the Packaging White Board and Oracle for operational tasks.
7. Enforce safety policies, promote safety awareness, and ensure food safety and quality compliance.
8. Wear PPE as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Ensure adherence to the production schedule.

Minimum Qualifications :

High School diploma required; food manufacturing experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Good communication and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with production lines and packaging equipment.

Additional Considerations :

Location: St. Davids, Ontario, Canada.

Work Environment / Physical Demands :

• Work is performed in a production environment.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, climb ladders, and perform multiple tasks.
• Reliable transportation required.
