Omron Automation Americas is seeking an energetic and high-potential Channel Sales Manager (CSM) to drive strategic and tactical initiatives to increase sales of Omron automation products through selected channel partners in the eastern regions of the US and Canada. The role requires maintaining a visible field presence, making it an 'in-the-field' leadership position essential to executing our go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Be physically present with our channel partners, including co-location and training.
  • Use Business Analytics to guide partners in increasing product sales, focusing on bundled solutions.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with various teams to support industry verticals and expand customer base.
  • Drive adoption of Omron’s Stocked Portfolio, training distributors to promote stocked products.
  • Build relationships at all levels within priority channel partners.
  • Foster collaboration with distributor partners and local Omron sales teams.
  • Support and develop distributor initiatives, including e-commerce channels.
  • Regularly review operations and address systemic issues through scheduled meetings.
  • Develop regional channel partners in collaboration with local sales management, including engagement with various sales and technical teams.
  • Influence regional channel partners to favor Omron over competitors.
  • Create and deliver tailored training programs on Omron products and tools.
  • Ensure channel staff meet sales and support capabilities, involving Omron resources as needed.
  • Develop programs targeting specific markets or industries.
  • Plan and execute quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in industrial automation sales, with 3 years managing distributors preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Omron tools and products, with the ability to work within a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within US & Canada.

The annual base salary ranges from $95,000 to $150,000, with potential bonuses based on performance. We encourage candidates who meet most qualifications to apply, emphasizing our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
