About This Role :

This is a remote position seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of Enterprise Account Management, professional services delivery, and building successful relationships with senior management in the Energy Services and Energy Management sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing customer expectations, driving growth, and employing innovative approaches to problem-solving. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established company that maintains a dynamic, start-up environment. Responsibilities include managing existing accounts and generating new business with large national accounts such as retail chains, restaurants, banks, and other multi-site operators.

Job Description :
Business Development / Sales Responsibilities :
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing multi-year contracts.
  • Identify and close deals with Fortune 500 companies based on the organization's focus list.
  • Engage with senior management to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and presales teams to customize solutions and engage customers in a consultative manner.
  • Coordinate with facilities, energy, procurement, and legal teams during negotiations and contracts.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and detailed account plans for top pursuits.
  • Work with internal teams to strategize account pursuits and develop solutions for key accounts.
  • Coordinate with global teams across various time zones.
Required Qualifications :
  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management and new business development within Energy Management or Energy Services.
  • 5+ years of experience engaging senior management with demos and new technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Graduate degree.
  • Self-driven with a willingness to learn about technology, data science, and analytics.
  • Flexibility to work occasional late evenings or early mornings for team calls.
  • Experience with AI, IoT, and EMS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems.
