Job Title

We are hiring a talented Senior Sales Executive to join our financial services team.

Our sales team is made up of experienced sellers with expertise in penetrating their industries. They have a deep network of established relationships, including strong C-level connections, and thrive on building relationships across enterprise or mid-market financial service-based accounts. Preference is given to candidates with over 5 years of experience selling to Canadian Banking, Insurance, or Capital Markets clients.

They are brand evangelists, passionate about technology and creative in problem-solving. They are strong listeners, adept at supporting teams in pursuits, and aligning with client goals. Results-driven and ambitious, they aim to grow a profitable book of business involving advisory and technology delivery opportunities across their client territory. They are professional storytellers, sharing Slalom’s purpose, market differentiation, and success stories. Experience working with alliance technology partners like Microsoft, AWS, or Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve over $10 million in annual revenue targets, quarterly sales goals, and MBOs.
  • Create and forecast pipelines for assigned clients or sets of clients.
  • Maintain discipline in lead management, opportunity qualification, close planning, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and deal commitment.
  • Drive activity collaboratively with account, practice, and alliance leaders.
  • Partner with alliance platform teams (Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft).
  • Develop and share sales collateral.
  • Manage sales across 2-5 accounts.
  • Create digital marketing campaigns, respond to inbound leads, and follow up accordingly.
  • Lead negotiations for SOWs and MSAs as part of the account team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of outside sales experience, including at least 3 years in Financial Services (Banking, Wealth, Insurance).
  • Proven success in selling professional services, digital transformation, or cloud solutions.
  • Track record of meeting $10 million+ annual revenue targets.
  • Strong relationships within Financial Services sectors.
  • Experience with technology partners like Salesforce, AWS, or Microsoft is preferred.
  • Experience leading sales cycles with C-level executives.
  • Organized, methodical, with strong prioritization and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in leading teams through complex technology sales.

Work Environment: Hybrid model with expectations for onsite presence as required by team leaders.
