Job description

Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar is currently seeking a Reservations Manager.

Our ideal candidate will be able to provide a sense of warmth and hospitality to our guests while balancing the organizational demands of the restaurant and mentoring our team of hosts.

Previous experience is required.

You must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities:
  1. Answering the phone, fielding inquiries, and relaying messages to the appropriate department
  2. Taking reservations over the phone, online platforms, or in person
  3. Managing the reservation book
  4. Recognizing guests by name and remembering their preferences
  5. Greeting and seating guests, being the welcoming face of the restaurant
  6. Assisting with professional coat check services
  7. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house environment
  8. Understanding wait staff needs to prevent overcrowding in sections
  9. Leading and training other hosts
  10. Making decisions and empowering others
  11. Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  1. At least one year of experience in a similar role
  2. Natural leadership qualities
  3. Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences
