What you'll do

This role offers an opportunity to support Wendy’s growth in the Canadian market by managing new build and reimage projects throughout the development cycle, including site investigations, design management, procurement, tendering, construction, and post-construction phases. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills to oversee multiple projects, collaborate with franchisees, contractors, suppliers, and manage consultants.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management : Manage new builds and reimages, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Capital Approval : Conduct site investigations, test fits, and budgeting for approval.
• Design & Planning : Oversee design milestones and planning submissions.
• Tender & Procurement : Prepare tender packages and manage procurement processes.
• Construction & Operations : Oversee construction, schedule, costs, utilities upgrades, and final restaurant turnover.
• Pipeline Development : Support next-year project pipeline including site studies, budgets, and schedules.
• Value Creation : Enhance brand investment returns via value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Process Improvement : Develop and refine project management processes and tools.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Experience in managing design, planning, permitting, tendering, and construction.
• Experience with F&B construction rollout programs.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and management skills.
• Fluent in French and English.

Additional Information
