TSG STAFFING SERVICES is recruiting for a PROJECT MANAGER (Electrical background) for an opportunity in the Greater Calgary Area in an Operating Plant environment.

Job Description:

• Preparing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-discipline projects.
• Managing project development and execution through to start-up.
• Ensuring successful completion of projects according to defined objectives.
• Developing standard practices and procedures related to project management.
• Ensuring compliance with all government and corporate safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Participating in continuous improvement of project management procedures.
• Collaborating with contractors, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Controlling projects to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Sharing expertise across departments, sites, and corporate offices.
• Addressing unexpected developments with innovative solutions during project execution and design.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (asset).
• PMP certification (asset).
• 5-15 years of industrial project management experience.
• Experience with budgeting for capital and major maintenance projects.
• Experience with switchgear, MCCs, and low/medium voltage brownfield projects.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments with various teams.
• Ability to work independently with high motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
