Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years recent experience as a Receptionist in an office setting.
  • Completion of a clerical or receptionist training program or equivalent work experience.

Bayshore is looking for a warm and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist. If you are an effective communicator with superior organizational skills, this important position offers an opportunity to excel as the initial point of contact for our company.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Reception Duties : Greet and assist visitors as they arrive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  2. Meeting Scheduling : Manage meeting bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using our scheduling software.
  3. Phone Management : Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line system, take messages if needed, and provide information to callers.
  4. Record Maintenance : Maintain and update appropriate records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  5. Administrative Support : Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  6. Communication : Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, customers, and visitors.
  7. Office Maintenance : Ensure the reception area and lobby are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Job Qualifications
Education

Secondary School Diploma; Completion of a clerical or receptionist training program or equivalent work experience.

Experience

A minimum of two years recent experience as a Receptionist in an office setting.

Other Skills and Abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency with keyboarding, Windows software, multi-line telephone systems, and standard office equipment;
  • Fluency in English; French language skills are required for branch offices serving French-speaking clients;
  • A strong commitment to continual learning.
