Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent.
• Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada.
• Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency procedures in accordance with established methods as described in departmental Policies and Procedures manuals, while documenting high-quality images, including but not limited to abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts.
• Experience in musculoskeletal, neurosonography, vascular imaging, and assisting in interventional procedures is an asset.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure ultrasound, medical imaging, and ancillary equipment are performing effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results.
• Work all shifts including standby.
• Be an integral part of the diagnostic imaging team to ensure smooth workflow within the department and coordination with other hospital departments.
