Position: Full Time - Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Ultrasound

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer reports to the Charge Technologist and performs medical imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis or treatment, adhering to regulatory standards. They assist Radiologists during diagnostic procedures, assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, recognize conditions requiring immediate attention, and document procedures accurately. They also observe hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality and safety, and perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications include:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Graduation from a recognized college program in general diagnostic medical sonography
  • Registration with Sonography Canada or Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences is an asset
  • Vascular credentials are an asset

Salary Range: $36.84 to $51.77
