Our divisions—Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems—make DTB a diverse and interesting workplace.

Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is a leading independent testing laboratory providing testing and engineering services across military, aerospace, shipboard, railway, weapons manufacturing, automotive, and consumer industries worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, flexible, and able to start contributing immediately.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the design and execution of high-profile, challenging test programs.
• Manage all phases of testing, including environmental and vibration testing to standards such as MIL-STD810 and DO-160.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities within the lab.
• Handle scheduling, testing, and budgeting for programs, often managing large projects.

Qualifications for success:

• Strong engineering and mathematics background.
• Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Ability to plan tests, recognize issues, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in designing test setups, writing procedures, and reports.
• Capability to manage programs' schedules and budgets.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and manage profit and loss responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering testing experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot creatively and learn new challenges.
• Hands-on approach and process-driven mindset.
• Strong communication skills and detail orientation.
• Experience in project management and driving profitability.
