Job Description :

The Class 1 Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately billing and entering information into the UPS system. Additionally, complete various administrative tasks within data entry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Enter data into UPS systems within specified time guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support to Management Team(s).
  • Assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Complete departures of shuttles and aircraft.

Requirements :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Own transportation required for commuting.

Additional Information :

  • Job Type : Full-Time Permanent — Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Starting Pay : $17.75 per hour.
  • Job Location : 9272 Airport Rd, Mount Hope, Ontario, L8W 1L9.
  • Workdays : Monday – Friday (5 days / week).
  • Starting Time : 4 am.
  • Shift Flexibility : Start and finish times may vary based on operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Pay rate of $17.75 / hr. Unionized role with a defined progression to a top rate of $24.65 after 48 months.
  • Paid training.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday.
  • Paid days off (eligibility requirements apply).
  • Paid vacation : 2 weeks after 1 year; increasing with tenure.
  • Extended health care benefits (vision, health, life insurance, dental) after one year.

Expenses and Working Conditions :

  • Union initiation fee of $50 at hire.
  • Exposure to temperature variations in a warehouse environment.
