Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects from initiation to completion.
2. Dissect large project schedules to determine key dates for installation and extrapolate internal key dates for design, procurement, and fabrication.
3. Coordinate and collaborate within large project teams and stakeholders.
4. Assess on-site labour productivity against monthly billing cycles.
5. Provide direct technical and application support for sales personnel, including on-site support as required.
6. Produce accurate and concise details on engineered systems.
7. Assist customers and act as a liaison between contractors, sales, site personnel, and verification teams.
8. Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
9. Support engineered systems from manufacturing details to job completion, reporting significant developments to sales staff and District Manager.
10. Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. products, as well as competitors' products.
11. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
12. Track and report project status, including milestones, deliverables, and budgets to senior management.

Qualifications

• PMP certification is an asset.
• CFAA or Journeyman Electrician preferred.
• Experience in project management within the Life Safety industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous project management experience on large contracts is required.
• Familiarity with procurement activities such as supplier quotes, purchase orders, and managing delivery schedules.
• Proficiency in contract management, including change order pricing.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
