Job Description

The Branch Manager is in direct contact with all Westburne personnel within the city, working closely with Inside and Outside Sales Representatives, Operations, Customers, and Suppliers. They are responsible for achieving sales targets and company objectives, as well as:

  • Creating a culture of exceptional customer service.
  • Increasing market share by growing existing and acquiring new customer accounts.
  • Meeting with key and potential customers to discuss market trends, future business, resolve concerns, and increase customer awareness while supporting sales and marketing plans.
  • Providing effective management through strong leadership and direction of immediate subordinates.
  • Coordinating dealings with Westburne departments, outside manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Providing performance management and training for direct reports.
  • Ensuring the implementation of company policies and objectives.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency and excellence in collaboration with Divisional and Corporate personnel.
  • Actively participating in community engagement as a company ambassador.
  • Meeting corporate objectives related to quality, health and safety, and asset control.
  • Utilizing and coordinating services of the Marketing, Product Management, Inventory Replenishment, and Credit Management Departments for regional growth while managing risks.
Skills / Qualifications
  • University degree (preferred) plus at least ten (10) years of related industry experience, including three (3) years in management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong business acumen for analyzing financial reports and developing strategies to meet or exceed operational and fiscal targets.
  • Ability to build strategic partnerships and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and execution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and coach staff, and make difficult decisions.
