We are currently looking for LINE COOK to join our dynamic team at COAST RESTAURANT. CATCH. COOK. EAT. A true west coast dining experience.

Reporting to the Chef, the LINE COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience as a line cook is an asset - grilling, frying, sautéing, chopping, etc.
-MUST have 2-5 years experience
-FOODSAFE certification is an asset, but willing to train
-Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
-Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
-Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
-Able to follow oral and written instructions
-Likes to work as part of a team
-Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
-Ability to stand for long periods of time

*** Must have flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts***
