Job Description:

Regional Sales Manager Cash Management proactively champions the Commercial Deposits and Cash Management Strategy enabling the delivery of Deposits and Cash Management products across the spectrum of customer needs within a district. This position reports to the Head of Global Commercial Transaction Banking with a vital mandate to cultivate and leverage relationships with the Unit Leader Groups and provides guidance and support to the MCM's in their business development efforts and client servicing.

Job Requirements
  • Develop employees to achieve results based on Cash Management Sales team's volume and revenue targets.
  • Work with the MCM's in their districts to execute the Cash Management strategy.
  • Works with the DVSP to set and achieve Cash Management objectives by negotiating and executing the District and CBC business plans.
  • Manage market pricing and inform the product group and other regional sales leaders on the competitive landscape.
  • Support the DSVP with market intelligence and provide guidance on pricing best practices across districts.
  • Support the Product team in business planning programs and on-going measurement against the plans.
  • Follow the Cash Management Business Development strategy by coaching the CMS team to plan and document business development activities; reviews, support and communicate results.
  • Support team in the successful ongoing use of commercial sales methodology via disciplined use of CARMA.
  • Develop plans for continued growth of new business and maximize the profitability of existing relationships.
  • Ensure team is cross selling the full range of products to existing and new customers as applicable to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationship based on risk profile of customer.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with each Unit Leader and the MCM team within the Region.
  • Support the Cash Management Product Group with business case generation of new business opportunities.
  • Proactively promote TD's Image within the business community through ownership of Business Banking market co-ordination relating to participation and leadership in community business groups, initiatives, fundraisers, etc.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of all Cash Management products and services.
  • Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable of and operate within the applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines/policies & procedures (including but not limited to : AML, Privacy, Firewalls, Systems & Information Security, FCAC, etc).
  • Understand the overall market and industries, while maintaining knowledge of designated market areas.
