PRODUCTION OPERATOR (PRINTING PRESS / EXTRUDER)

Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to perform job set-ups, adjustments, startups, and shutdowns in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role involves maintaining production quality and equipment condition.

BramCal Production, Inc. in Barrie, Ontario manufactures printed film wrappers and shrink-wrap bags for IKO roofing products.

When You Join Us, You Will

• Adjust machinery speed to meet company targets
• Monitor and inspect production quality and equipment condition, reporting findings
• Work with supervisors to resolve defects
• Ensure raw materials and film meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and report H&S issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts and participate in cross-training
• Work overtime as needed

Our Ideal Candidate

• Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds safely
• Able to stand for extended periods and work at heights
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred
• Experience with flexographic printing or blown film extrusion is a plus
• Forklift experience recommended
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
