Business Overview:

At Pride Bodies Ltd., we offer custom design and fabrication of utility, service, construction, and other custom truck bodies.

Job Overview:
  • Apply safe automotive/manufacturing work practices and become familiar with equipment such as saws, drill presses, iron workers, and welding machines.
  • Perform a variety of tasks requiring stamina and a willingness to learn.
  • Understand instructions and execute tasks efficiently within deadlines.
  • Manage work order packages from start to finish.
  • Possess knowledge of automotive electrical and mobile hydraulic systems, and ability to read schematics.
  • Install hi-rail gear or body mounts of all types.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
  • Connect aftermarket electrical accessories to various chassis.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with vehicle-mounted equipment, including hydraulic/electric cranes, air compressors, and service bodies.
  • Thorough knowledge of mobile hydraulic and electrical practices.
  • Familiarity with fasteners used in equipment installation on automotive vehicles.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Proven safety record and ability to work safely at all times.
  • Dependable and dedicated.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Effective time-management and planning skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
  • No relocation assistance provided.
  • Personal toolbox with mechanic’s tools for electrical, pneumatic, and general assembly work.
