Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar role.
• Extensive experience in commercial & industrial concrete flatwork, curbs, walls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.

Position Overview :

JPS Construction Group is seeking an Experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and manage our concrete crews. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in flatwork, curbs, walls, and custom structures, along with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead and supervise a team of concrete workers on commercial and industrial projects.
2. Read & interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
3. Oversee the setup, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete structures.
4. Ensure all work meets project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
5. Enforce and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
6. Provide mentorship and training to crew members.
7. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
8. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and daily progress reports.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Extensive experience in commercial & industrial concrete flatwork, curbs, walls.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Red Seal Journeyman Mason certification is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with industry safety regulations and a strong commitment to job site safety.
