A leading company in high voltage electrical testing is seeking a shop-floor supervisor in Edmonton. The role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of related experience and be willing to travel throughout Alberta.
MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
must be able to travel a lot 200 days per year for the first year

OVERVIEW
We currently have a new opportunity for an energetic, hands-on shop-floor supervisor with a mechanical aptitude to join our team at our NAIL-accredited high voltage testing laboratory located in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate excels in a fast-paced, technical environment, meeting the stringent demands of our customers within this recession-proof industry. Knowledge of power utility / electrical equipment and / or industry-related standards is a definite asset. The ability to quickly learn standards and working procedures is a must.
Receiving direction from, and collaborating with, the Branch Manager, you will schedule, direct, train, and work alongside a crew of technicians involved in several specialties both in the lab and the field, maintaining production efficiency and coordinating work efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and legislative compliance.
