The Solutions Designer is responsible for designing hosting technology solutions that meet client application business requirements and project deliverables. This role requires a deep understanding of integrated networking technologies, server systems, storage, and related best practices. The designer will gather client business requirements, participate in solution development, and advise on short and long-term service development. They will also design and develop large, complex, and highly available mission-critical server applications, assessing existing systems and recommending improvements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities :

• Design hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models.
• Gather client business requirements, considering corporate IT mandates, client IT strategic plans, and environment standards.
• Participate in solution development and provide advice on short and long-term service development activities.
• Develop technical specifications for installation, testing, and performance of integrated, multi-service systems.
• Assess and improve the performance and capacity of existing systems.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Plan, migrate, implement, and sustain large, complex system development projects.
• Evaluate leading-edge technologies and their application to client needs.
• Conduct cost / benefit analyses for new technology requirements.
• Design and develop large, complex, highly available, mission-critical server applications.
• Develop business design documents, functional and non-functional requirements, and high-level application flows.
• Create detailed process flows and high-level screen designs.
• Design solutions with user experience and accessibility (WCAG / AODA) in mind.
• Conduct user research and usability testing.
• Develop user personas and user journey maps.
• Analyze user feedback and design solutions to address user issues.
• Create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups using UI prototyping software.
• Research and apply industry best practices.
• Develop use cases (business / system) and identify / document business rules.
• Identify risks and provide solutions.
• Create quality assurance plans and write test cases.
• Document test strategies, scenarios, and plans for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and update business architecture artifacts.
• Develop application view visibility and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) matrix.
• Develop application screen mock-ups and screen flows; translate screen design and workflows into wireframes or prototypes.
• Work effectively with functional and technical teams and clients.

Required Skills & Certifications :

• 7+ years of experience designing solutions with Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM technologies.
• Experience developing business design documents, functional & non-functional requirements, and high-level application flows.
• Experience creating detailed process flows and high-level screen designs.
• Experience with solutions and designs incorporating user experience and accessibility (WCAG / AODA).
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Experience developing user personas and user journey maps.
• Experience analyzing user feedback and designing solutions to address user issues.
• Experience creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups with UI prototyping software (e.g., Figma or Adobe XD).
• Demonstrated experience in developing use cases (business / system), identifying and documenting business rules.
• Demonstrated experience with the creation and analytical process of business requirement documents.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with creating quality assurance plans and writing test cases.
• Demonstrated experience with change management methodologies.
• Experience in developing application view visibility and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) matrix.
• Experience with developing application screen mock-ups and screen flows; translate screen design and workflows into Wireframes and or prototype.
