A leading company in Alberta is seeking a Client Manager to manage client relationships and business growth. The role requires strong mentorship skills, industry knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexible working arrangements and a commitment to diversity are offered.
THE ROLE : The Client Manager is an expert advisor responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients courteously and professionally, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business. Additionally, the Client Manager handles new business input, marketing documents, and other administrative duties to enhance team effectiveness.
As a Client Manager, you are patient, conscientious, relaxed, and a cooperative team worker. You will lead by example, embody our values, and foster business relationships through exceptional customer service. Your role includes supporting the company's growth, building rapport through internal mentorship and external client relations, and overseeing and mentoring Client Managers, Client Associates, and Client Coordinators, including supporting their career development.
Responsibilities include determining customer needs, negotiating coverage and terms, responding to inquiries and complaints, processing transactions, reviewing current coverage and exposures, analyzing risks, and collaborating with Senior Advisors to meet client needs. You will ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts, demonstrate breadth in commercial insurance, and possess depth in policy wordings and coverages within key sectors.
Requirements include a Level II license or equivalent, relevant industry experience, preferably with post-secondary education and certifications such as CIP, CRM, or CAIB, or working towards them. You should have strong mentorship and teamwork skills, diplomacy, business acumen, and a focus on customer experience. Proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, communication, innovation, and adaptability is essential. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and internal Broker Management Systems (EPIC) are required.
