What You'll Do

• Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
• Handle customer and associate concerns, providing guidance as required.
• Monitor front end associates ensuring proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and assist with registers as needed.
• Train associates on systems and procedures, such as scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols.
• Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assist with error correction, and verify processes to meet company guidelines.
• Ensure all EAS systems function properly, including deactivation, handling issues, and completing logs.
• Prepare registers for opening and closing, support cashiers, and maintain cash levels, including completing register audits.
• Promote and oversee company-sponsored programs and initiatives, such as credit card services, protection plans, charity initiatives, and discounts.
