Global Operations and Supply Chain - Analytics and Insights

A Day in the Life

A Global Operations and Supply Chain Advanced Analytics Senior Analyst is primarily responsible for building and maintaining business-facing analytics applications within the Microsoft Power Platform. This role supports the PLAN, DELIVER & TRADE COEs and other COEs within Global Operations by providing business expertise, technical knowledge, and analytics creation. The goal is to contribute to building GO&SC INSIGHTS and promote best practices and tools.

This role manages application requirements, converts existing data extract procedures to meet the standards of the A&I team, and builds advanced end-user facing data visualizations and applications. Collaboration with the Subject Matter Expert Team & the Data Services Team is essential to develop tools that simplify processes and generate insights aligned with customer goals.

Providing excellent customer service to empower stakeholders is key. The role requires decisiveness, courage, experimentation, and calculated risk-taking to create simple, innovative solutions that serve stakeholders effectively.

The role also involves seeking out best practices, educating stakeholders, and acting as an agent of change to promote data-driven decisions and workflows within the organization.

Responsibilities :

1. Synthesize business questions and requirements into understandable analytics solutions.
2. Write, test, and debug SQL and DAX code.
3. Design data models (conceptual, logical, physical) to support analytics needs.
4. Understand architecture of multiple data sources.
5. Develop advanced data visualizations in Power BI.
6. Be a self-starter, able to establish relationships and collaborate with a remote team.
7. Communicate effectively to translate user requirements into applications.
8. Prioritize user experience to drive improvements.
9. Ensure on-time delivery of solutions.
10. Travel up to 25% or once a quarter.

Must Have : Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in analytics, or a master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Forecasting, or Supplier Management.
• Experience working in regulated environments like Medical Devices.
