The Opportunity

EZ STAK is seeking a diligent, detail oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team, operating out of our Kingston, ON location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records related to accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Generation & Distribution: Prepare and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Cash Application: Accurately apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Credit & Collections: Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and manage credit limits.
• Customer Account Reconciliations: Investigate and resolve billing disputes, chargebacks, and short payments.
• Sales Tax Procedures: Manage sales tax-related matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Cash Flow Management: Provide insights into expected cash inflows and support forecasting efforts.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate AR aging reports, payment forecast, bad debt analysis, and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) tracking.
• Process Improvements: Identify and implement automation or efficiency improvements in AR processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is desirable
• 2 or more years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
