A leading company in the energy sector is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join their People Analytics Team. This full-time hybrid role involves producing HR reports, improving analytics processes, and collaborating with various departments. What you'll do
Reporting to the People Analytics Team Lead, this role will be part of a team that is responsible for providing Human Resources reporting and analytics that leverage the information in our SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Responsibilities include:
* Producing regular reporting deliverables, including HR metrics and dashboards; responding to ad hoc reporting and analytics inquiries; and contributing to enterprise reporting initiatives (e.g. enterprise dashboards, annual report, and Regulatory reporting).
* Maintaining and continuously improving reports in the HCM system and the end-to-end implementation of any report enhancements.
* Under the guidance of the People Analytics Team Lead, coordinate and further develop tools/processes to continuously improve and expand the reporting and analytics shared services model.
* As a member of the overall People Analytics and HR Systems Tier 2 SAP support team, this role will work collaboratively with other team members to support the end users of the HR SAP HCM system, also working work closely with both our Tier 1 (HR Services) and Tier 3 (SAP Technology) support teams.
* Collaborate regularly with other Human Resources departments and other functional areas within the organization.
What you bring
* An undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Experience completing reporting and analytical work using Microsoft Excel, including analysis of data using advanced Excel formulas and functions.
* Experience preparing and cleaning data in Power Query.
* A minimum of 2 years experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). SAP/SuccessFactors experience would be an asset.
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
* Experience performing data quality checks and support testing of HRIS system and reports.
* Strong client service orientation and be able to build/maintain strong working relationships.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
* Experience with Data Visualization software, such as Tableau, PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud would be an asset.
* CPHR designation would be an asset.
What else you should know
* This is a P1 M&P Full-Time Regular (FTR) opportunity on the team based at our Dunsmuir location in Vancouver.
* As part of the interview process there may be an assessment/test.
* Please note this role is classified as a Hybrid role under the flexible work model, which currently includes a mix of working from home and working in the office. At present, this role is expected to work in the office a minimum of two days per week however at times it could be more frequent due to operational requirements and does require flexibility.
