Job Summary:

GoDaddy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal to support global subpoena compliance and litigation efforts. Reporting to the Director of Global Subpoena Compliance and Litigation Support, this role involves handling legal requests, regulatory matters, litigation support, and corporate legal operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing sensitive legal matters with discretion and a deep understanding of legal compliance in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze subpoenas, legal requests, and law enforcement inquiries to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Provide support for domestic and international litigation and regulatory matters, including pre-litigation processes.
  • Conduct internal research to identify relevant documents and information.
  • Process discovery requests while maintaining the privacy and security of business and customer data.
  • Draft legal documents such as discovery responses.
  • Act as a liaison between outside counsel, internal teams, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Manage legal document organization and maintenance, including indexing, closure, and destruction.
  • Represent the company as a records custodian witness when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on complex legal matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
  • 6+ years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on corporate litigation and subpoena compliance.
  • Experience handling confidential legal matters with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume legal cases with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex legal concepts concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience in the tech or internet industry.
  • Experience handling international legal matters, particularly in India and Brazil.
  • Prior experience working with law enforcement agencies or conducting investigations.
