Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in providing expert legal support with a significant focus on sales contracts, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws while staying true to our company values. We're looking for a strategic legal partner to drive initiatives in contract negotiations, policy execution, and legal compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an accredited university and be an active member of a US state bar association, with membership in additional bar associations considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, opinions, letters, and other legal documents with a significant focus on sales contracts.
• Support the organization with sale and supplier contract negotiations and advise on related legal matters.
• Supporting the execution of company legal policies and procedures ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws.
• Coordination and collaboration with all internal stakeholders on legal queries, including HR, insurance, and other corporate legal matters.
• Devising and documenting contract strategy in line with our company values, while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required, in alignment with the purpose of the role.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited university and active member of US state bar association; membership in the New York Bar Association a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an international company/environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Business, Contract, IP, Tax, and Corporate laws and regulations related to international business activity.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in drafting sales agreements.
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and accept personal responsibility for task completion.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience in professional services and/or IT-services industry will be a plus.
