About the Role

War Room is seeking a Sales Manager to join our expanding team. Reporting to the CRO, you will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and position our digital marketing and technical services to meet client needs. This role requires a proactive, consultative sales approach and close collaboration with technical and marketing teams to align offerings with client goals.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office weekly, with the first 3 months fully onsite. Our office is located at 210 W Broadway, Vancouver, operating from 9 am to 5 pm.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Business Development: Generate new business through research, outbound calls, cold emails, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Client Discovery: Understand prospective clients' goals and challenges; collaborate internally to develop solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Recommend services aligning with client objectives and position War Room as a value-added partner.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term client relationships, ensuring a smooth transition to the account team post-sale.
  • Proposal Coordination: Collaborate with internal experts to craft tailored proposals reflecting client needs and capabilities.
  • Sales Process Execution: Manage the entire sales cycle from outreach to closing, prioritize leads, and meet revenue goals.
  • Sales Insights: Provide feedback to improve sales processes and service offerings.

Skills + Experience

  • 4-6 years in sales or business development, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or tech services.
  • Proven success in prospecting and closing new business.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing with a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in customizing proposals with internal teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
