Red Deer Polytechnic is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead and manage various projects within the institution. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work independently. This role involves coordinating project planning, communication, and budget management to ensure project success. A comprehensive benefits package is included, and the position is permanent part-time with 24.5 hours per week.

Position Summary
The Project Coordinator leads and manages the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of one or more projects within a single operational area or across the institution as guided by a project sponsor. Projects will be highly collaborative and can involve a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will display a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve high-end results. This individual utilizes analytical skills, flexibility, and creativity to support decision-making in serving the strategic and operational objectives for the project. They will coordinate project planning, communication, timelines, and reporting as needed and keep project sponsors and other stakeholders apprised of project progress. This position can include project budget management and human resources process management as required. The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring project success.
