Why is this role important:

The Digital Manager, Brand Marketing, No Frills role focuses on planning and executional excellence for digital marketing campaigns and channels. This role is a key collaborator across multiple partner groups (e.g., brands, internal/external agencies, and media counterparts), to ensure seamless delivery of marketing plans and digital programs that support No Frills objectives.

What you'll do:
  1. Campaign/Digital Channel Strategy: Translates brand-level strategic objectives into campaign/program-level plans within No Frills digital channels; collaborates with partners to compile consumer/business insights (e.g., insights from the Customer CoE) and previous campaign takeaways, using these insights to inform the campaign strategy and brief; works with marketing leaders and team to clearly define important metrics and objectives for each campaign.
  2. Campaign Planning: Manages the planning process for digital marketing campaigns and channels; responsible for developing marketing briefs, including managing review cycles with senior decision-makers, and working with partners to gather inputs to inform briefs; ensures the marketing briefs align with strategic and annual plan objectives.
  3. Campaign Execution: Leads No Frills digital content and execution with agency and internal counterparts (e.g., Loblaw Agency, Loblaw Media, Loblaw Digital, PC Optimum, PC Express, and more) for email, text, web, in-store digital screens, and social media.
  4. Optimization, Innovation & Best Practices: Maps customer journeys/destinations in the channels above, develops clear measurement plans against them, and coordinates post-mortem processes, including working with partners to compile campaign performance reports with key metrics, facilitating post-mortem discussions, documenting findings, and briefing the Director to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements

What you bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Brand marketing experience with a focus on digital and/or a digital marketing agency background is preferred, with retail experience as a bonus.
  • Strategy experience developing and implementing personalized, targeted communications (preferably in owned channels: email and text).
  • Experience mapping customer journeys to support business goals across all digital channels: paid and owned, with mass and personalized targeting.
  • Experience managing email, text, and website content calendars, asset creation, reviews, and execution (with supporting agencies).
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources and touchpoints to make recommendations.
  • A passion for digital marketing and enhancing customer experiences and content.
  • Ability to navigate complex portfolios with multiple stakeholders with a team mentality.
  • Strong budget management and project management skills.
