Role Description
Reporting to the National Director, Strategic Marketing, this role supports the development and execution of a best-in-class marketing and online leasing strategy for the assigned portfolio of RV Resort and residential communities.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- Support/Manage and execute marketing strategies across Canadian portfolio, delivering on KPIs and organizational goals as required.
- Support/Manage relationships across departments, teams, and vendors to ensure successful execution of strategic goals
Analytics, Reporting, and Research
- Support/Manage all aspects of marketing analytics and reporting, ensuring insights are gathered and disseminated, and organizational needs are met
- Monitor the effectiveness of digital ad campaigns, and make recommendations for improvement where feasible
- Market and marketing research as required, in support of the marketing strategy
- Tracks and monitors traffic, booking and/or leasing velocity, prospect follow-up and occupancy performance across the portfolio(s)
- Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising programs using a variety of metrics (ROI, Cost per lead, Cost per lease, etc.)
Marketing Tactics and Support
- Support/Manage the continuous refinement and maintenance of a best-in-class web presence for the portfolio, closely monitoring websites and ads to ensure that content is relevant and current
- SEO
- Support/Manage tracking and monitoring of Search Engine Optimization metrics across the assigned portfolio
- Ensure appropriate progress is being made consistently, in the face of changing external factors
- Support/Manage vendor relationship
Digital Advertising
- Support/Manage tracking and monitoring KPIs across the assigned portfolio
- Support/Manage supplier relationships
- Support/Manage the development of programs and campaigns to address leasing challenges
Social Media (If/when applicable)
- Support/Manage tracking and monitoring social media metrics across the assigned portfolio
- Support/Manage the supplier relationship
- Support/Manage and elevate QuadReal Residential’s social media presence, including strategically relevant platforms (may include Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, others)
- Support/Manage social media programs including key marketing messages, seasonal campaigns and special promotions
- Support/Manage and implement social media advertising campaigns.
Marketing Collateral and Signage
- Including but not limited to: floorplans, print and digital brochures and flyers, photography, digital assets as required
- Support/Manage all signage updates across the residential portfolio, in line with refreshed QuadReal brand
Brand Management
- Ensure all materials are built and aligned with brand guidelines and playbook
- Create new materials and coordinate updates as required
- Support/Manage third party suppliers
Planning and Budgeting
- Support/Manage the strategy regarding asset-specific marketing plans for the assigned portfolio (target market, pricing, etc.)
- Help form annual marketing budgets for the assets within the portfolio
Education And Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years’ related marketing experience in multifamily residential, hospitality or other closely correlated industries
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- Adobe InDesign experience is considered an asset
- Experienced in leveraging social media as an engagement and advertising mechanism
- Ability to work effectively across departmental lines
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively adjust to change
- Self-starter with the ability to independently start and complete projects and anticipate next steps
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
