Campaign Operations Specialist (Contract)

The Global Marketing Operations team at IDC is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable candidate for the Campaign Operations Specialist role (Contractor), who will oversee the successful execution of marketing programs in our marketing automation and email platforms (Marketo).

This role involves collaborating with global marketing teams to bring their programs to life, refining program frameworks, executing technical QA, and monitoring/reporting on program performance. You will also assist in platform and segmentation enhancements to improve results.

This is a contract position expected to last up to 12 months.

We are open to candidates in Ontario, BC, Alberta, or Nova Scotia working remotely from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with global marketing teams to understand campaign goals and ensure successful delivery of go-to-market programs.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including asset creation, workflow testing, and tracking.
  • Perform technical QA of programs (primarily in Marketo) to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Manager on program frameworks, assets, segmentation, and target lists.
  • Implement operational initiatives to enhance performance and expedite delivery.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience in B2B environments.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on Marketo experience; certification preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com; familiarity with Adestra and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UTM strategies and Google Analytics (GA4) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
