About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate Manager, Engagement to join our Curtin Sport and Recreation.
In this role, you will be a key player in driving the growth of our brand, events, and commercial revenue streams. You will lead a dynamic team, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee strategic initiatives that enhance community engagement and drive sustainable growth. This role places a strong emphasis on values-based leadership, collaboration, and fostering partnerships internal and external to the university.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, Sport and Recreation, to align engagement activities with Curtin’s broader strategic goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills in stakeholder engagement, marketing, and event management while contributing to the success of our Sport and Recreation programs.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Engagement business unit, focusing on marketing, events, and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategic marketing and engagement plans.
- Drive the commercial success of Curtin Sport and Recreation through partnerships and collaborations.
- Lead a team, providing direction and support to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational reporting.
Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria:- Extensive experience in management, leadership, and strategic planning.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in event management, marketing, and commercial growth strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage across diverse teams.
