OpsGuru is a global engineering and consulting group specializing in the container ecosystem, data processing, analytics, and cloud-native technologies. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Manager to contribute to our growth and maintain our reputation as a trusted name in Cloud Consulting.

The ideal candidate will have management experience, strong work plan development, and program governance skills. They will prepare and present progress updates to customer stakeholders regularly, ensuring our teams meet standards for excellence and innovation.

Objectives of this Role

1. Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, including schedules, scope, budget estimations, and risk mitigation.
2. Coordinate internal and external resources to keep projects within scope, schedule, and budget, collaborating with OpsGuru team members and clients.
3. Analyze project progress and adapt scope, timelines, and costs as needed to meet client expectations.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, providing daily contact on project status and changes.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

1. Manage scope over the project lifecycle, set quality and performance standards, and assess risks across multiple projects.
2. Monitor and assign resources to optimize project efficiency and outputs.
3. Report project outcomes and risks to management, escalating issues as necessary.
4. Ensure timely team time tracking, billing, and invoicing, working closely with the sales team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of client-facing Project Manager experience, preferably in Professional Services organizations.
• Experience managing technical delivery projects with teams of 5+ and budgets over $500,000 CAD.
• At least 4 years of AWS project implementation experience.
• Proven success working with all management levels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented, with a sense of ownership.
• Nice to have: experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Management.
• Professional certifications such as CSM, PMP, PRINCE II, or PSM.
• Strong adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Experience coaching and developing project teams.
