We are hiring Embedded Linux Field Engineer to expand our reach in mission-critical industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. We seek candidates who are accomplished Linux experts, passionate about Linux, proficient with containerization, system debugging, and related skills.
The server edition of Ubuntu is extensively used in connected devices and industrial PCs. Our newer IoT edition, Ubuntu Core, emphasizes security and resilience for high-end appliances. Our clients include global brands in electronics, automotive, and robotics. We are expanding our offerings to enhance security, management, and developer experience for small Linux environments and devices, including recent additions like real-time Linux capabilities.
This role requires a unique skill set: deep Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, embedded software development, and adaptability to diverse client engagements.
