We are seeking a vibrant, ambitious, and fashion-forward Department Manager who will play a crucial role in managing staff and driving excellence in all aspects of the shopping experience. As the Department Manager, you will be a key leader on the sales floor, overseeing daily interactions and ensuring every engagement between employees and customers meets the high standards of the Simons experience. You will be the go-to person for associates seeking advice and training to deliver exceptional customer service!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead & Inspire : Lead and coach associates, empowering them to improve their service one customer at a time. Ensure that employees are equipped and motivated to engage in outstanding interactions, leaving customers satisfied.
  • Drive the Simons Experience : Set high standards and demonstrate success to your team, ensuring all teams master the art of delivering the exceptional Simons service experience to every visitor.
  • Curate the Vision : Play a leading role in creating a vibrant and inviting sales floor that showcases our merchandise. Collaborate with Area Directors and employees to develop eye-catching visual displays that attract attention.
  • Optimize Performance : Work closely with Area Directors to assess departmental performance, identify training needs, and proactively address operational challenges. Develop strategies to enhance merchandising effectiveness and meet business objectives.

Desired Profile :

  • Experience in Retail Management : 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment, managing people and processes. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Fashion Expertise : Deep understanding of current fashion trends, brands, fabrics, and styles. Ability to forecast future trends, possess extensive product knowledge, and style customers. Set the standard for fashion-savvy guidance across the store.
  • Customer Service Passion : Ability to make customers feel like part of the Simons family and inspire your team to do the same.
  • Collaborative Leadership : Natural collaborator with employees and management, demonstrating adaptability and openness to foster success.
