About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on E-Commerce SEO Manager to own and scale the e-commerce growth engine for one of our clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and wants to make a direct impact on rankings, revenue, and technical site health.

You’ll report directly to the Performance Director, working closely with a small internal team and external partners. As we scale, you'll manage a network of vendors and freelancers to hit aggressive growth targets.

Key Outcomes

• Drive a measurable increase in organic rankings and traffic
• Grow non-branded organic sales across key product categories
• Identify and fix technical SEO issues that impact performance
• Build and lead an effective freelancer / vendor network as we scale

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Conduct keyword research, content gap analyses, and competitor audits
• Collaborate with dev and content teams to implement SEO strategies
• Monitor and troubleshoot crawl issues, indexing, site speed, schema, etc.
• Manage external SEO vendors and freelancers for link building and content
• Report on performance, rankings, and opportunities weekly / monthly
• Stay on top of algorithm updates and e-commerce SEO trends

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of SEO experience in an e-commerce environment
• Deep knowledge of Shopify (or similar) and technical SEO
• Strong experience using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Proven ability to drive revenue through organic performance
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Comfortable with autonomy, decision-making, and moving fast

Bonus Points

Experience scaling DTC or omnichannel brands

Background in conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Familiarity with content production workflows and briefs
