- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality and uptime.
- Monitor and improve website performance, including load times, navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, compelling, and optimized for search visibility.
Digital Marketing and Sales Growth:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that drive traffic, sales, and customer retention.
- Leverage SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to maximize online visibility and conversions.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs.
- Oversee promotions, discounts, and campaigns to align with brand objectives and market trends.
Customer Experience Optimization:
- Enhance the user journey by improving site navigation, checkout processes, and personalization features.
- Work closely with the customer service team to resolve escalated issues and ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvements in the online shopping experience.
Inventory and Fulfillment Coordination:
- Collaborate with the logistics team to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Implement systems to monitor stock levels and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Streamline processes for returns and exchanges to maintain customer satisfaction.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in digital advertising, platform operations, and logistics.
- Report on financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and IT teams to align goals and execute strategies effectively.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the retail or beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and digital marketing tools.
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and managing successful campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with tools such as Google Analytics and other reporting platforms.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
