Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited is seeking a driver who will ensure crew and equipment reach job sites safely and on time. You will join the arborist team on site, bringing your knowledge to help complete pruning and removal tasks efficiently and safely.

Position is full-time, year-round in Hamilton, Ontario, with wage between $20 and $25 per hour. Benefits include RRSP/TFSA and ongoing training, with employee ownership opportunities after six months.

Qualifications

• Valid provincial driver’s license with clean driving record.
• AZ or DZ license preferred.
• Arborist certification or willingness to pursue one.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial truck with crew and equipment to job sites.
• Perform and log daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist trimmers and foreperson on site and support ground crew.
• Perform tree pruning and removal tasks safely and skillfully.
• Maintain tools and equipment incl. chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
