Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited in Windsor, ON is seeking a Utility DZ Driver [Groundperson/Arborist]. The role supports crew safety, equipment transport, and on-site arborist work. Expect hands-on tree care, logging inspections, and adherence to safety policies.

The position offers full-time year-round employment, with pay between $22 and $26 per hour, depending on education, experience, and certifications, plus benefits and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Valid provincial driver’s license; AZ or DZ license preferred.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping.
• Arborist certification or willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial truck with crew to job sites.
• Perform and log daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and assist crew with tasks.
• Assist the trimmers and foreperson in job site setup and cleanup.
