Job summary

Davey Tree Expert Co of Canada, Limited is seeking an Arborist Apprentice/Driver in Colborne, Ontario. You will join the crew, drive to sites, and assist in pruning and removal tasks while maintaining safety and equipment readiness.

The role offers year-round, full-time work with wage between $20 and $25 per hour, plus benefits and career advancement opportunities within the employee-owned Davey organization.

Qualifications

• Valid provincial driver’s license (AZ/DZ preferred).
• Arborist certification or willingness to work toward one.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in a crew.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial truck with crew and equipment to job sites.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and vehicle upkeep.
• Assist with pruning, removal, and tree care tasks.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
