Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals in Oshawa, Ontario is seeking a driver/installer to deliver and set up perimeter fencing and edge protection equipment. You will load, strap, inspect vehicles daily, and advise customers on installation instructions while signing contracts.

You must be comfortable outdoors year-round and able to lift heavy loads. Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch, maintaining records, and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class DZ driver's license with a driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points).
• Minimum 3 years of experience towing a trailer and loading onto a truck.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round and driving in varying weather/road conditions.
• Experience with manual transmission is required.
• Able to lift approximately 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/pick up and set up/dismantle perimeter fencing and edge protection equipment.
• Load/unload perimeter fence and edge protection; secure loaded equipment in transit.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and check fuel/oil/fluids.
• Advise customers on application and installation instructions; secure contracts.
• Inform supervisor of delivery/pickup difficulties and new sales opportunities.
• Double check deliveries for accuracy; communicate delays to dispatch.
• Maintain accurate delivery/pickup records and logs.
• Tag and move damaged equipment to repair area; submit forms to dispatch.
• Keep truck clean and professional at all times.

Turn in these forms to Dispatch/Branch Manager, along with pick up sheets.Tag and move broken equipment to repair area.Keep the truck in clean and professional condition at all times.Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post- inspections regulatory logs and timesheets .What You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Valid Class DZ driver’s license with a driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points ).
