Business Central Senior Consultant

- Full-Time (Hybrid, or Remote)

- Reporting to the FIELDBOSS Consulting Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

FIELDBOSS is an innovative, flexible field service management solution, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and designed for elevator, HVAC, and specialty contractors. The organization is led by a team of Chartered Professional Accountants and Certified Microsoft Technology Specialists who have been providing the highest level of service in the Microsoft solution consulting industry since 1989.

We're in search of a Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Consultant with a deep understanding of solution design, system configuration, testing, implementation, and support. As an integral part of our Upgrade team, you will be responsible for fostering client relationships, leading projects, and delivering exceptional service to our valued clients across North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client-Focused Solution Development and Implementation

  • Lead or assist in consulting tasks, with a focus on project scoping, implementation, product training, data migration, system configurations, and post-implementation support.
  • Serve as a primary resource for our clients on their projects, or as an associate consultant to another FIELDBOSS lead consultant.
  • Drive or participate in performing client system audits to determine their efficiency. Recommend best practices for an enhanced client experience, demonstrating the value of a streamlined, centralized system.

Product and Service Quality Assurance

  • Conduct or assist in product release testing to ensure our clients receive top-quality features, bolstering our promise of improving profitability.
  • Provide valuable feedback for product development and continuous improvement of FIELDBOSS solutions, assisting in the achievement of sustained growth for our clients.

Project Leadership and Collaboration

  • Spearhead or assist in diverse internal projects such as product demonstrations, design, and development meetings, marketing content generation, and project management updates.
  • Contribute to projects such as documentation, training video creation, and marketing material provision, emphasizing our commitment to configurability and scalability.
  • Represent FIELDBOSS at industry trade shows and field prospective client inquiries, cementing our position as a knowledgeable, approachable, and transformative force in an ever-evolving market (voluntary).

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Expert proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central application experience and/or experience with Dynamics GP.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with implementing complex, union payroll within Business Central
  • Experience with Business Central add-on products including Binary Stream Multi Entity Management and Primo Payroll
  • Experience with AL extensions, .NET and Power Automate or Power BI not required but an asset
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively contribute to various teams
