Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 1–3 years as a server in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
MS Office familiarity (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Touch Bistro desirable.
Excellent guest service, strong English communication (verbal and written).
Physical ability to bend, twist, stand long, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Serving It Right certification mandatory; Food Safe certification asset.
Fluent English conversational; Canada work authorization required.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain restaurant areas, including patios, service stations, and washrooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests.
Greet guests, explain menu, and recommend food and beverages.
Take accurate orders, handle special requests, upsell items, and enter orders into POS.
Know menu items, daily specials, ingredients, prep methods, and allergens.
Coordinate with management, kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth service.
Follow health and safety standards and assist with closing duties.
