Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Catering Coordinator to support day-to-day administrative tasks and hands-on floor involvement. You will build strong rapport with partners, clients and guests and handle BEOs in the absence of managers, while upholding safety, service standards and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires catering/event planning experience, superb communication skills, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective rapport with partners, clients, guests and management.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in the absence of Catering Sales Manager and Catering Assistant Manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are maintained, organized and followed.
• Assist the Catering Manager in department activities while maintaining high quality service.
• File and maintain financial records and H&S documents; ensure daily reconciliation and consumption reports are completed and forwarded to managers.
