Job summary

The Rec Room at Cineplex Inc. in Burnaby is seeking an energetic Bartender to prepare drinks, pour wine and beer, and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle orders, maintain a clean bar, manage inventory, and ensure guest safety by proper ID checks and responsible service. Prior bartending experience and a provincial alcohol certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be of legal drinking age where applicable.
• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Bartending classes completed preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage service.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Provincially applicable alcohol certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take and fill drink orders, garnish and serve drinks, and process payments.
• Maintain a clean work area, wash glasses and stock bar supplies.
• Monitor inventory and restock wines, beers, and liquors as needed.
• Check IDs, refuse service if necessary, and coordinate safe rides when required.
