Job summary

Cineplex The Rec Room in Vancouver is seeking an hourly Bartender to craft drinks, greet guests, and support a fast-paced bar environment. You’ll manage orders, payments, and wine/beer pours while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ bartending experience, knowledge of recipes, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Certification for alcohol service is required.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years bartending experience.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Provincial alcohol server certificate required.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and bar etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Taking and filling drink orders, garnishing and serving drinks, collecting payment and operating POS.
• Maintaining a clean work area and washing glasses and utensils.
• Monitoring inventory and restocking bar supplies as needed.
• Ensuring guest safety by checking IDs and refusing service if needed.
