Job summary

Rivershore Ram is seeking a Sales Consultant in Kamloops to help customers find the right vehicle and build lasting relationships. You’ll guide conversations from interest to delivery, explain features and pricing, and present finance options to create a welcoming, low-pressure buying experience.

This role rewards initiative and goal attainment in a fast-paced setting, with training provided for automotive products and dealership processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the automotive industry is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right person.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
• A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Comfort using technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a friendly, comfortable, and pressure-free experience.
• Ask the right questions, understand each customer’s needs, and recommend vehicles that are the right fit.
• Build your customer base through networking, referrals, follow-up, and community involvement.
• Develop strong knowledge of our vehicles, features, pricing, incentives, and promotions.
• Coordinate test drives and guide customers confidently through each stage of the sales process.
• Work with the Finance & Insurance team to introduce available financing and leasing options.
• Build lasting customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
• Consistently work toward individual sales, performance, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with the sales, finance, service, and other dealership teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Perform other responsibilities related to the position as required.
